Now that there are 32 main games and a Salem, MA-based mystery coming out in November, it's time to bare all and rank our favorite playthroughs. Many a time we have been brought face-to-face with Nancy's desk, rifled through her notes, and agree to take on many a problem in the search for a solution. And it doesn't help that HER has been very tight lipped about it all. It does not look good for a company to cut so many jobs and remove a beloved voice actor, or for both long-time and new employees to leave. I've even heard some say that Dwayne Powers is really the one behind it all. I've seen some conjecture online today - saying that HER is also trying to grow the book brand, or that the style of games will change after #33. Lani said that "they need a bigger audience and are trying diff things" which caused fans some concern and started lot of speculation surrounding what this will mean for Herinteractive and the future of the Nancy Drew game series. Katie Chironis, who wrote for Sea of Darkness and upcoming Midnight in Salem, announced today that she had left the company (5/15).HER lays off about half of their staff (~5/15).Lani announces SEA as her last game voicing Nancy (11/14).Penny Milliken replaced Stuart Moulder as CEO (9/14). ![]()
